PRIVATE COMMISSIONS
FOR
AIRCRAFT PHOTOGRAPHY
FINE ART CUSTOM PRINTS OF YOUR
AIRCRAFT IN FLIGHT
There is no other bond between human and machine as the bond between
a pilot and their airplane. For ownership of an aircraft is a singular
experience, often the realization of a dream that began when, as
a child, they stopped their play to watch a plane pass overhead.
Or perhaps it began at the moment when, with controls in hand, they
guided a plane to leave the earth, and another pilot was born. With
a commissioned fine art print capturing their airplane in flight,
pilots have the opportunity to preserve that unique bond forever.
Charles accepts a limited number of commissions for private air-to-air
sessions each year. All arrangements are provided for, including
a suitable photo plane and photo plane pilot, and when required,
a formation-qualified safety pilot to accompany owners who are not
formation qualified. Sessions can be arranged either at the owner's
location, or in North Carolina. After the flight, owners will be
provided with a selection of images from which to choose one or
more enlargements. The enlargements will be custom printed in a
professional photo lab and reviewed by Charles before delivery.
Additional printing options such as a coffee table book of a collection
of images from the flight are also available.

"I recently had the opportunity to fly my airplane for
a photo shoot with Charles. It was a great experience, and I now
have some awesome photos of my plane. Charles provided a very experienced
formation qualified safety pilot to fly with me, and before we took
off, we briefed very carefully. After the flight, I was able to
choose from a selection of many images, and the quality of the prints
was excellent. The overall experience was unforgettable."

"The best gift I ever gave my husband was to arrange for
a photo shoot of our S-51 Mustang, with Charles Stites a few years
ago. We both knew that Charles did superb work, and he didn't let
us down. He made all the arrangements, so it was very well organized.
He briefed us both very carefully, and everything went smoothly.
The photographs were so very beautiful that we purchased several
large prints. A year after that, my husband died. Now, I am forever
grateful that we did that most memorable shoot, because, everyday,
when I look at these awesome photos, I can remember that November
morning, when my husband was so filled with excitement, exhilaration
and the total love of flying that airplane. It's a very happy memory.
Thank you, Charles." - Martha Krejci (S-51 Mustang)
